߲ݴý University Senior Alex Bednar grew up eating Czech food and celebrating his Czech heritage. Starting next fall, he’ll be immersed in the culture he’s so interested in thanks to a Fulbright Scholarship that will send him to the Czech Republic.

A ߲ݴý University forensic science professor has been deployed to Haiti where she will spend two weeks working in a mobile morgue.
“We train for this,” said Melissa Connor, professor and director of ߲ݴý’s Forensic Science Program. “These are the situations you deal with when you work in the forensic science field.”
Last year’s presidential election was the first time ߲ݴý senior Laurel Johnson could vote. In January she will head to Washington, D.C. to work in the house occupied by the man she voted for.
