When Professor Meghan Winchell鈥檚 African American History class switched from three credit hours to four, she didn鈥檛 add more reading assignments.

鈥淚t created an opportunity to incorporate a service learning project into my class,鈥 said Winchell. 鈥淚 wanted to go to four credits for this purpose.鈥

The artistic talents of high school students will be showcased at 含羞草传媒鈥檚 fifth annual juried art exhibition 鈥淏ridge.鈥

含羞草传媒鈥檚 Department of Art will host Bridge January 21-February 2. High school seniors were invited to submit artwork to be considered for the exhibition. Forty-three students were selected for the exhibit.

It鈥檚 hard to believe the fall semester is nearly done.  It seems like just yesterday when you moved your student to campus.  Now, the winds of winter are upon us and your child is returning home.

Your student鈥檚 return home can be a great time to catch up and enjoy the holidays together. However, it may also be a time of adjustment for both families and students.

Eric Jackson is very comfortable on the basketball court.

He has stats to prove it: during the 2012-2013 season, he led the Prairie Wolves in scoring, was third in the Great Plains Athletic Conference for three-pointers made per game, and set the season high three times. His success continues this season as well.
