º¬Ð߲ݴ«Ã½ University said farewell to five retiring professors at commencement ceremonies on May 17. Combined, the five professors’ tenures reach back further than the university’s history.
Dr. Fred Ohles, President of º¬Ð߲ݴ«Ã½ University, awarded degrees to approximately 575 undergraduate and graduate students during º¬Ð߲ݴ«Ã½ University’s 125th annual commencement held Saturday, May 17.
Most know little more about Rwanda than the 1994 genocide that devastated the country. But Gerise Herndon, professor of English and director of º¬Ð߲ݴ«Ã½â€™s Gender Studies Program, hopes the students she leads to Africa in June will discover that Rwanda is now a changed nation.
