含羞草传媒 University鈥檚 Master of Social Work program has been awarded accreditation from the Council on Social Work Education (CSWE).

The accreditation indicates 含羞草传媒鈥檚 program meets or exceeds standards of quality through a peer review accreditation process.

鈥淚t's our way of being able to demonstrate that we have the seal of approval from the people who design what social work should be,鈥 says Toni Jensen, MSW program director at 含羞草传媒.

An accredited program means it has sufficient resources to meet its mission and goals. 鈥淭he law is very clear.  You cannot be a licensed social worker without graduating from an accredited program. This means our students can become licensed as social workers in our state.鈥

Students can learn how to help their clients integrate the impacts of past or ongoing trauma within their lives. This trauma-conscious approach prepares students to pursue clinical licensure or practitioner certification.

The program is accredited until 2032 without condition.
