This 40 hour per week, 10-month per year position reports to the Director of the Cooper Center for Academic Resources and will assist all Directors of the Academic Success Collaborative at The Hub, where every student is empowered to thrive in a supportive, compassionate, and inclusive academic environment that nurtures the whole person.

Responsibilities
  • Serve as a first point of contact for The Hub, addressing student queries at The Cooper Center Welcome Desk and acting as a liaison to the wider campus community.
  • Assist and support case management related to The Cooper Center, Office of Academic Advising, and Office of Student Accessibility Services.
  • Support the daily operations of The Hub, including updates of the website and social media accounts, and assist with special events.
  • Oversee the administration and management of student support information systems, scheduling databases, and record maintenance for the Academic Support Collaborative @ The Hub, specifically:
    • WC Online, PACC program, CRLA certification
    • Testing Center Scheduling, Preparation, and Follow Up
    • Room Scheduling and Event Logistics
  • Assist with the management of the Cooper Center budget and student work hours
  • Assist Hub Directors with communication to students, peer tutors, and specific student cohorts
  • Collect and analyze various Hub data for annual reports, partnering with the Office of Institutional Research as needed.
  • Participate on select campus committees and teams for the development and support of the overall º¬Ð߲ݴ«Ã½ mission and core values
  • Perform other duties as assigned by Hub Directors
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree required; master’s degree preferred
  • At least 1 year experience working with students in a related capacity, including experiences while an undergraduate or graduate student
  • Comfortable learning new technologies
  • Experience with Microsoft Office 365
  • Familiarity with CRM and Scheduling software systems and data management
  • Demonstrates critical thinking, time management, and ability to troubleshoot
  • Demonstrates the ability to multitask and manage several projects at once
  • Demonstrates good organizational, writing, and proofreading skills; must be detail oriented, adaptable, and flexible; and work in an environment with multiple interruptions
  • Possesses interpersonal and strong oral and written communication skills. Experience with technical documentation is a plus
  • Demonstrates the ability to maintain and handle confidential information
